i know roses are really cliche flowers to give to a girl, but i adore them, especially white roses. when people ask me why i chose that flower out of all the flowers a guy could give me, i just say “it’s not because it represents death, it represents ‘purity’.” i personally value chastity and purity as virtues (fuck patience - lol, jk, that’s next on my list). i want to fall in love with a guy who may have the potential to keep a chaste relationship with me. i know in the past i made mistakes in falling in love with the wrong guy, but who hasn’t? we learn. however, the guys (except for one, but let’s not go into that) i fell in love did wanted a chaste relationship. another reason why i love white roses is because… it’s white. i’m not saying that in a bad way. I ADORE THE COLOUR RED. however, white just stands out. it also represents the snow, and i wub winter~  so if a guy presents to me a white rose, i hope he knows why (yeah, my heart would beat really fast with a stupid smile on my face, but i need a reason). he doesn’t need to express the same thoughts as i have, but i hope he gives a valid reason and not just “oh, it’s cuz you like them.” or “oh, it’s cuz it represents ‘purity’.” TELL ME MORE. <3
